I think I could enjoy operating one of those things...  As long as it'll work in rain & cold ~

I rode Harleys for years and never rode one drunk. When I was in my late teens I used to ride w/ older riders on a BSA and we did drink and ride. ( 3.2% alcohol beer in my late teens ).

I will say most of the Harley riders I know don't have a problem drinking and riding .

That's one reason why I went to BMWs . I didn't see those bikes parked at every bar I would ride by.

I sometimes think Harley riders think that it's the American bike and the American thing to do is get drunk and ride it proud.

I used to think smoking weed was cool in the late '60s +'70s but I never rode high. Just seemed like too much work to find the key and there wasn't a stereo on the bike . ;D

There is a biker bar / restaurant located out in the " hills." On a busy weekend it isn't unusual to see over a 100 Harleys there at the same time. Sometimes even more.

Kind of scarry , 1 Ducati on the road in the "hills " and sometimes a caravan of Harleys comming at me when I'm out there practicing my cornering skills .

There are at least 5 Poker Runs a day on the weekends , usually Sunday , and they always seem to end

up running through the Hocking Hills Area where I spend most of my riding time.   Dolph

I can't wait for all these shitbricks to go back wherever they came from.
Then they can come back next year for the big 106th celebration.
It's good for the economies of the area, but I just dont' see any appeal in that sort of activity.

I work for Harley so I got paid to wander around at the HOG party at Miller Park yesterday, and the Summerfest grounds today.
It is pretty crazy around here....  There is just a ridiculous amount of people.
It is kind of cool in a way though.  Today I talked to people from Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Japan, France, Germany, Belgium, and England.  All Harley riders.  I think it's amazing that a brand can bring so many people from everywhere when they throw a party.

Speaking of drunk,  a rider from Michigan was killed two blocks from my house today when he was hit by a 61 year old drunk woman driving a car. :(
