Title: what kind of engine oil and clutch fluid should I use?

I have a 99 m900. How often should I change the oil and what kind shoud I use? I also have to change the clutch fluid. Thanks, guys!

Most of us change oil every 2-3k miles.  10W-40, 15W-50, 20W-50 will all work.  I prefer full synthetic, though not necessary.  Particularly if you have a wet clutch, a motorcycle specific oil with an MA rating is a good idea.

For the brake and clutch, any DOT4 or DOT5.1 brake fluid, not DOT5 (silicone).  DOT is fine too.  The fluid should be changed yearly.
