Title: Ducati Showa orks to fit 748-916-996 V.s Monster 750dark"1999
Post by: muzz on September 02, 2008, 11:57:46 AM
if i replace the original fork + the yokes, with Ducati Showa Forks from 748-916-996...
Does that mean i can fit the rest of the parts to the forks, with out modifying,
meaning:
brakes, wheel, fender, brake hoses, speedometer cable  and so on...........

Someone tried to steal the bike, pounding the disc lock to the lowers and the caliper, it ended up with braking the bolt-on on the lower...

lots of mess

No.
Depends on year but at least wheel axle & fender mount is different, maybe caliper, too, 40/65mm mount.

AFAIK, the yokes/triples from those SBKs won't fit the Monster frame.
