I just picked up my first bike last Thursday, a 09' Pearl White 696 and needless to say I love it.
300 miles and counting. I will name him/her, but nothing is working for me right now.
I bought it in part using feedback from this site, so thanks to all for your experiences.
I was hoping someone could answer a quick question...? Does changing to an adjustable
clutch lever (CRG) change the point of engagement, or does it just move the lever position closer
or further away from the bar? My clutch has a huge dead zone before it finally picks up and
I would love to get it catch sooner. I have no issue with the stock lever position, I can reach
it fine. I know it is a slipper clutch, but does that mean no adjustment?

You might want to ask your clutch question in accessories and mods (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=5.0).
My understanding is that the aftermarket levers just move the position closer/further from the bar...to change the point of engagement, you may want to look at an aftermarket slave cylinder. I could be wrong though.

Thanks Herm, I whole heartedly agree. Ms. - you are correct about the lever issue. I talked to my sales guy (Nik)
today from Pure Ducati in Ft. Lauderdale who made a follow up courtesy call to see how I liked my bike so far.
He confirmed it just moves the lever position. I will have to ask about the slave cylinder though. However, He said I
will get used to it quickly, and it is less stressful on your hand as well. I guess I will deal for now.
