Tried some this week, turned out nicely. Lay the strips onto a baking sheet and cover each one in a layer of brown sugar. Cook at 400 degree for five minutes, flip, then another 5. Comes out crunchy-chewy with a smoky caramel flavour. Makes spectacular bacon sandwiches. I'm tempted to throw some on a glazed donut now, mmmm.
had bacon done up like that on a burger... it was brown sugar and some other stuff to give it some kick.
good stuff, indeed [thumbsup]
My wife made some and put it on an apple pie with no crust. Delicious!
How did I miss this thread all this time??!!! [drool]
