They still make ya drain coolant and safety-wire everything etc? Can't make the 14th but mebbe that 6/28-6/29 event that MendoDave mentioned if ya don't have to go fiddlin around with all the crap...

See the track day operator's site for rules, but in general they don't make you safety wire. Coolant is easy to do though.
I'm in. I was waitlisted, but they found a spot. wt:

Glad to see it! Now let's hope they move me up into your group ;D Think we can influence one of the
instructors? ;)
I'm riding for Tigre on Wednesday -- just a regular man. I might not even wear instructor leathers.

Not a regular man...an AMA racer wt:
You dudes have fun. I'm super jealous. I'll be [coffee] working.
I've cleared the schedule for Wednesday just to see the Bumblebee sting the track!

Regular man? [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] One that refers to himself in the third person! [cheeky]
Oh, wait... I forgot... Metamucel is now a co-sponsor of Tigerbike Racing. So I guess he is a "regular" man after all. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
Good day out with Wendy, Michael Moore, Tigre, BikerGoddess, and special guest star/mechanic duckwrench13. We rolled in early because of the schedule (had to clear out by 3:30 to let the AMA teams set up), and blocked off a good amount of space in the hot pits for the canopies and vehicles. I was in B-, which for me was fine since I hadn't ridden Sears in over a year. The first few sessions were fun...especially passing 1098's and litrebikes ;D Then Tigre graciously towed me around the track for a few laps before coming in. I learned some new lines and improved, despite a few oh-shit moments.
A very good time. Many thanks to all who came out and made it fun...the Bumblebee Returns!
Oh, and I know...This thread is useless without pics. But I didn't fork over the money for the DVD. Call me cheap [moto]
Good to hear you enjoy track day also everyone were there , boo boo free is good day for track and special pick and learn new line , I am jealozzzy [bang] [bang]
If it makes you feel any better Danny, it really was a hot pit.
During the next to last session I realized I was getting brain fry and was going slower and slower, so I packed it in early. But the morning was great.
not quite boo boo free...

Here's the Bumblebee (http://www.annefrost.net/Images/Joe_SearsPt_051408b.mov) in action yesterday at Sears Point. Here he is again (http://www.annefrost.net/Images/Joe_SearsPt_051408a.mov), about to pass Ducky.

Oh yeah , keep my tires are always sticky then I feel as fire chase me down , keep me go faster [laugh]
The paw is healed up "enough." My shoulder is pretty sore, and so is my knee and hip. None of that seemed to matter too much -- I turned in another PR at the track today -- a 1:46.0. I may need to go as much as 0.9 seconds faster... TBD!
