Title: brake rotor swap
Post by: darkduc7 on September 05, 2008, 06:48:09 AM
curious if anyone knows whether these rotors off an '06 620 would fit onto my '01 M600. I only have one rotor at the moment, not sure what size...maybe 300mm?

Nope.  You'll need a 320mm rotor with a 10mm offset.  Those rotors are 300 mm w/ no offset - they mate up with the 2-pad 2-piston calipers you see on 05+ 620s 695 and S2R 800s.  You've got a 2-pad 4-piston caliper (at least you should have)

So look for rotors off any Monster before 05.  Current S2R1k rotors... any of the standard 9*6/748 sbk rotors (Watch out for rotors off R bikes, they are a bit different).  There's a lot of Ducati models that use the smae rotor config.

I have the stock rotor off my '97 750.  It is exactly what you need, 6-bolt pattern, 10mm offset, 320mm diameter for the 4-pot/2-pad calipers.  I was going to list it on eBay tomorrow since I was doing a little garage cleaning prior to winter.

It is in great condition and doesn't have many miles on it.  I upgraded to dual cast iron rotors last year.

Looking on ebay and past sales, I think $75 plus shipping is a fair price.  Let me know if you want it.  It goes on ebay tomorrow night.
