I will head to the moto gp Thursday from NC and the only question I have is to where to sleep.

when attending race in Europe, I allways camp next to the track becaue lot of fun...

I have no experience with Gp race here in the USA.
The question is:

do you camp next to the track?
do you book a room at nearby hotel?
If you camp, which site is the best?
what is the best considering only the fun factor [beer]

I have camping reservations for Lot 1C.

Couple other threads on here on what people are planning. Some camping, some hotel, some rental RVs and others shacking up...

I'm staying at a hotel. I'm bringing folks with me who would hate camping out, though.

we're staying in a hotel as well...
there are other's camping at the track.

Camp it.

While probably not as crazy as Europe, I imagine it will be a very fun time. It is right next to the track.

I have been told the hotels near the speedway suck.

Lets hope the weather is good for the weekend!
