Title: "Pulsing" engine before oil fully warmed. Normal?
Post by: hillbillypolack on September 08, 2008, 08:27:31 PM
Went out for a quick test ride yesterday to check the 14T sprocket improvement.  On the road, doing a constant 40-45 and the oil wasn't registering a temperature yet.  I noticed the engine "pulsing" in a subtle way.  Not crazy, but enough for me to notice the power was rising, then slowing.

Is this "normal" before the oil comes up to temp?  Everything was okay once there was a temperature registered in the oil display.  Just curious.
