I need a pair of Pilot Road 2 tires and need a reliable source for install. I don't have a garage so I'll be dropping the bike off. Does anyone have a source in San Diego besides GP Cyles?
Moto Forza in Escondido just gave me a great deal. [thumbsup]
Had it done with oil change and new belts in 3 hours.
If you could get the wheels off yourself I would suggest Cycle Gear. That's where I get all of my tires, but I take the wheels in and they install the tires.
If you need someone to take the wheels off for your, you're better off using a Ducati dealer so that they don't do something stupid like putting the spacer in backwards on the rear tire.
call cycle gear in clairmont mesa, they have tire sales for 25% off and will mount the wheels for 20$ a wheel.
there is lees cycle in clairmont, a place out in santee ive heard good things about(cant remember the name), sonny angel's in national city.
I was in House of Motorcycles in El Cajon the other day, they have some great deals on tires right now but they won't work on Ducati's, so if you can get the wheel(s) off then they're an option. Otherwise Lee's is probably the way to go, those guys know what they're doing.

Yeah they KNOW they are ripping poeple off, screwing up their bikes, and stunting them outside the shop.

Why not GP?

Exploring other options. It's the only place I've been.
get to know isaac or paul at GP and they will treat you well. hang out there, have
a donut and shoot the breeze.
having quality shops like GP and forza in the same (general) area is almost
unheard of.
give them your business so that we'll have them around in the future.
