Having trouble enough finding a station that has fuel yet when I find a station all they have is Reg and it is over $4
So do we run fairly well on Reg??
07 s2/limited r1000

Had to run for about 50 miles on 87octane in back country Louisiana/Arkansas a few months back. Bike ran fine...tho I didn't hammer it, spend any time in stop and go traffic and I did not lug the engine.
I've got me a little bottle that holds just enough octane booster for one tank back to the required level.
I have a bigger bottle at home I decant from, and I tend to discard the booster if it's been under the seat for a while. Works fine :).

All I run is 87
I have used 89 and 91 and it makes no difference as far as I can tell in regarding to mpg and performance.
If your bike is stock, there is absolutely no reason to run premium...

A) if people take even a 1/2 minute to scan the page before posting the same question, they might find the answer to their question
B) this board has a search function, which far too few members take advantage of
