anyone or am I the only doofus about to waste time/money on yet another jogging simulator?
EGM gave it a good review. They were not crazy enough to call it a WoW killer, but said it would give WoW a run for its money. Apparently got some different takes on the game play. All that being said... nope not me.. since I'll waste too much freaking time with those games if I ever started.
Toon: Tacar
Server: Skull throne
Guild: Plague
A mmo that lets you lvl through nothing but pvp = awesome
Not to mention so far Mythic has responded to bugs within 24 hours... game and servers has not crashed for me once since open beta
While I wont call it a wow killer.... I will call it a better pvp alternative....
I'm enjoying it a lot.
Nope, too cheap for it. I only play the Korean freebies so that I don't get too enthralled with good game play. [roll] I'm more a shooter anyway. I dug out the old BF 2142 again a few weeks ago. Still can't get my dang mic to work. >:(
Played a squig herder to level 6 so far. Good fun. The opportunity for low-level PvP is neat, and the public quests are a great idea, too. Graphics aren't as good as Age Of Conan, but the sense of humor and good quest dialog are a big plus.
I copped out and ran a White Lion to 8. Created a couple other toons to try them out but all Order so far. Most of all I'm impressed with the stability of the environment on opening of the retail game. RvR is a hoot!
Waiting for Warhammer 40k online!
Eldar and Harlequin FTW!
Wow, I must have missed the memo....
I used to LOVE that game.
Yup, I was a dork that painted little pewter figures............

Hehe, I had a friend in high school that wasn't good at painting but his mom was into crafts so she'd paint his warhamer figurines for him. [laugh]
Remind me again, is this game out full release now? How much is it? I'm too lazy to look it up. [roll]

HAHA! I even painted my own. They sucked. Except for my Chaos knights. They were easy. I made them Khorne knights, so lots of red on them.
[evil]
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!! [evil]
I still have my entire WH 40K Blood Angels army. Including the termie squad that was painted in graphite grey and then weathered with a transparent redish bronze color to give their armor a look like they have been bathed in blood.
And Dante, the Blood Angels commander is still a badass.
Of course my termie Priest with the lightning claws named Rupert is far and away my favorite paint project...come to think of it, I may bring him in as some desk swag...
Good god i am a dork...

shhh... just embrace it!
I swtiched off from a few different armies for 40k. I started out with Dark Angels, had a small 500 point Eldar army, then started on a Chaos SM army when I eventually lost interest. It was tons of fun, but at risk of losing my girlfriend, I'll hold off from picking it up again. [laugh]
Motorcycling is a much cooler hobby to the females. 8)
+1 on the dark angels.
I mean c'mon. who wants to make the beast with two backs w/the death wing???
made a smallish eldar army, too... because I wanted those shit-kicker harlequins ;D
