OMG GERMANY INVADED POLAND LAST NIGHT!
Where calling it the derby now arent we. [laugh]
Jeebus, cut out all the "re-post" shit. It's rude and it makes people scared to post for fear that the re-post police are gonna jump down their throat. It's fine once in a while (like if someone tell us that Ducati's making a Hypermotard or if they derby something when there's a thread on the subject on the same page), but it's just stupid and self-congratulatory to point it out each and every time. If someone doesn't comb the entire board every day, God forbid they might miss a post or two.
If you really want to help someone out as opposed to just being a know-it-all, just say something to the effect of "we're currently discussing the issue here" and then provide a link.
lazarus7, thanks for the vid. It made me LOL. I forgot to cruise the bowels of NMC four days ago and missed it the last time it was posted. [roll]
Not trying to be a smart ass just showing where the video was already being discussed as you mentioned.
If I was trying being a smart ass I would have other comments

IMHO that is what MikeZ did...Maybe he didn't say "we're currently discussing this issue", but isn't "derby" saying basically the same thing? I don't find it rude, I think it's almost necessary on a board this size. Thanks MikeZ
the derby-post police are just as bad. Nothing like someone barking at someone else to lighten up. [laugh]
who cares if someone points out it's already online?
getting hit with a derby is like 'tag, you're it' it's done with a smile. If someone is actually scared off because of it then the big bad interwebs is not for them.
I'm sure lazurus7 will laugh [beer]

You caught me!
I'm hoping to hit 120 by the end of the day.
The smirk on the driver's face is pretty priceless. He had it as soon as she got in the car. It was kind of a "well, she won't divorce me over this, but she's gonna be pretty pissed".

[roll] Whatever. If it's convenient for you to twist what I was saying, go for it. [thumbsup] Lawyers. ;)
It's an issue of volume and you know it. One person does it . . . <shrug> Ten people do it . . . <shrug> Everyone thinks it's the cool thing to do and so they compete to see who can be a bigger ass? That's not "Tag, you're it" playful. It's just stupid n' rude. So Lazarus7 may not give a shit in this instance, but there have been too many people lately sitting in the wings just waiting to scream re-post at someone. So I said something about it. Once. Hardly a slew of derby posts. When I jump down someone's throat when they're the first person in a while to scream derby, then go ahead n' tell me barking isn't justified and complain about the re-post post police.
Besides, if MikeZ can't take me barking, then mebbe the big bad interwebz is not for him. ;)

It's an issue of volume and you know it. Piling on sucks. When I jump down someone's throat when they're the first person in a while to scream derby, then tell me barking isn't justified. Tell me that none of the mods have had to step in when someone got pissed because a DMFer had to tell them they were re-posting Besides, if MikeZ can't take me barking, then mebbe the big bad interwebz is not for him. ;)
I'm sure you'll have this place whipped into shape in no time, Warren.

Dude, I'm not *trying* to step on your toes, Chris. If you want me to STFU, say so. If you wanna argue some more or be shitty, take it to the PMs or email. You know how to reach me.
Arguing? I'm laughing my ass off.

Is it against the rules for me to tell the two barristers to STFU?
I don't think so...because it's amongst friends...but not really cool for the board.
seriously....
I've seen water and oil mix better ;D

Im sorry but that video is funny as shit soley for that one comment the camera guy said
"oh my god dude their gonna beat our asses"
+1 on what He-man said... I kept thinking, what the hell is going to happen and then BAM!. It didn't even look like he tried to steer anywhere else BUT the ditch. Hopefully the Harley bro was alright, but funny nonetheless.
I hate laughing at the mishaps of others but that is nuts.
As said he looked like he didn't even try to steer or brake other than the rear brake from the look of it.
Hope he ended up okay but I did LOL at how silly it was.
