Title: Helmet on bike
Post by: Pakhan on September 22, 2008, 08:52:46 AM
I've never seen this before and thought it was a pretty good idea.  Not the best looking of designs but interesting.

Which bike is that?  I saw one (sans helmet -- I thought the big divot on top was for some sort of an accessory hard case tank bag -- which might also be a cool idea) parked in downtown DC probably two years ago. I looked all over the BMW site just now and though it looks a lot like the "overbite" front fairing of their GS bikes, I couldn't put my finger on a current model with that design.

I was late going to a museum and passed it on the way.  Didn't check the model because I figured it was something others knew that I would find out by posting the shots.

Nice urban transport if you can get past the embarassment.
