I don't know.
It was posted on a local forum as a reply to a topic about some guy who drilled through his gas tank on his ATV...

Some people are just that stupid.

This is  a little unrelated but I just read through that thread and another from some Houston Import Forums (see no moto content) and I can't believe how different this place is compared to most other forums.  I rarely see anyone making serious fun of someone or putting other people down.  That is nice but what I really like is the fact that most everyone on hear communicates in plain well written(for the most part) english.  I think I got dumber by reading some of the grammer and poor writing on the link above.

That's because many here are old farts as opposed to the kids and squids over there.   [cheeky]

That is simply awesome.

I used to know a guy that had a Kawi.  Seems exactly like something he would do.

Did you intentionally use "hear" instead of "here", omit the comma after "plain", not capitalize "English", and misspell "grammar"?

[cheeky]

I was hoping someone would catch that.  Or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Jeebus.  I'm not sure which carnage was worse--that ECU or the English language.

BTW, can we move to this to the How-To section and retitle?  [laugh]

That friend really needs some glasses.  Measure once, drill seven times - that's my motto.

7 drill imprints for two holes... seriously?

What's wrong with being a kid?

I text every now and then so I can see where abbreviated sentences that are straight to the point are pretty handy, but when you  have a full keyboard in front of you, there's no excuse.

Maybe he was really OCD and couldn't get it just "right".  Maybe he has walleye vision.  Maybe he digs on them good old paint chips.

In a somewhat related story,  a friend ( and it really wasn't me, although I have done some amazingly stupid things) was installing
an amp in his 1973 Porsche 914.

He grabbed his trusty drill and picked the spot under the dash.........

And proceeded to drill ha hole through the "firewall" into his just filled fuel tank. Imagine his surprise as the gasoline poured from the "mounting' hole and filled the interior of his car. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [evil]

I removed the tank and welded the hole for him and never let him forget his mistake [laugh]

A completely unrelated story which that reminds me of...

Several years ago I was at a gas station.

It was a really nice day and a fairly attractive girl cruised up in convertible, top down, blonde hair flowing in the breeze.

The car was a brand new black Beemer.  Still had the temp plate on it.

As I'm walking back to my truck from getting a drink inside, I'm kinda checkin' her out.

She's turning to hang the pump nozzle back up when somehow she accidentally squeezes down on the pump handle.

Douches the leather rear seat with gas.
