Do you guys want to start another thread/post with the AFM Races this weekend as the subject heading so that you can get max turn-out?! [cheeky] ;D Thanks!
I'm at fault too, but we're killing Charlie's ride thread. The races prolly deserve their own thread.
Edit: weird. We posted the same thing at the same time. That's some voodoo shit right there.

What? You're not cool with us bastardizing the snot outta your ride thread?? [laugh] OK, here's an idea...if you have it earlier...a lot earlier.... then perhaps the race attendees will come join yer ride. Juss' sayin'. You'll have to leave from Mill Valley 'round 8:30 or so. You could have a quicker group and a more mellow group who will visit diners and coffee houses and cookies purveyors. ;D Or not. [thumbsup]
I'll probably be in for this one, need to change deh rear pads quick style on friday though. Let me know what time you guys decide on. [popcorn]

ah no one uses rear brakes anyways :D

I think it takes about 5 seconds...but it's been a while since I've changed a rear brake pad. That said I've had two shops warn me that mine's nearly gone. Like TCK said, no one uses the rear brake.
The rear brake is used to bring the front end down after I wheelie on your FACE [moto]
OK, that's not a little scary at all. Not one bit. <slowly backs away....> Ya know, some people put a smilie or some sh*t after a statement like that. Yikes! :P
Should have quoted TCK!, it was an inside joke not directed at you, my apologies ;)
Ok, Ok...now I'm not scared anymore. [laugh]
Back to Charlie's thread. It's getting plenty of bumpage, but not ride-related. Sorry Charlie!
Don't worry Charlie I'll work on getting a few heads to roll, did you talk to Maicek, Csongor, Alex, Keith???
I'm a maybe...

I use it when coming down the hill from Mt. Tam into Mill Valley with the engine off and no hands.

Okay okay... lets rephrase, "No one
NEEDS to use the rear brakes"
I don't know about everyone else but with all the hills I deal with in sf the rear brake really comes in handy.
Yeah, I'm too short to do uphill starts without a rear brake.
Especially with tourists and or retards going up fillmore, on my way to school sometimes I just wait at the stop sign and wait for the car to get to the very top before I go. Burnin up meh clutch.

I can ride my bike with no handlebars.
I usually only use my rear brakes and only use my handlebars sometimes.
Dingo, you rollin' this weekend?
I want to go up to AFM... maybe ride in the morning then head up.
I should go on a ride though, havent been out much latley and always forget how much fun it is.

Well, that was a fun one! [thumbsup]
We had 10 bikes and 11 riders (3 chicks out of 11 = [thumbsup] ;D). Some new faces, some familiar ones now, great weather, great food and of course, great riding - thank you! :-*
Saw a few [leo] but they just gave us the "slow down" hand signal out their windows and just ignored us otherwise... ;D [moto]
Sweet!
I forgot to tell you CharliesAngeles that the left muffler on your bike is moving rapidly compare to the right hand side. It doesn't look like it's going to fall off soon but it's definitely not secured.

Hey J. - great riding with you yesterday! :)
Thanks for the heads up...I get that feedback frequently. Looks like I should buy that special heat/electrical tape that DW told me about and get on his waitlist for putting it on the Duc... ;D
Saw you guys parked out at Pt. Reyes Station yesterday...I totally forgot about the ride you all had planned. The wife and I enjoyed checking out your bikes. We were the pair of red Monsters parked around the corner in front of the coffee shop. Oh, and to the dude with the red S2R w/ Ti Arrows: your bike sounds wicked good!
[evil] Thanks, I love those pipes [evil]. But I think they might be taking a toll on my ears.. I think I saw your s4r s2r as I was leaving towards the coffee shop back to S.F.. You guys should join us on the next ride. It was a blast!
Dang wish i was there...BUT we did sail up to napa on a very fast 40' trimaran which we hope will set the speed record to Japan next spring. See dolfinspirit.org.
