Sad to see her go [and so is my gf] but I'm just not into this bike anymore.
This bike has been solid from day one with the exception of a certain Duc shop doing the 6k wrong - This problem was fixed by Rockwell.
I only did one track day with it when I was a newbie. So if you know anyone looking, let me know. I'm gauging interest and offers.
As is... but may part some of it out
• motowheels clip-ons [with 1 inch risers]
• speedy moto frame sliders
• tail chop with integrated signals
• rizoma front turn signals
• rear cowl
• pitbull rear stand
• 12.4k miles [will need a 12k tune-up]
• new chain

Hey pat i would be interested in the stand for my 1098 if you want to let it go. Good luck with the sale otherwise, ill see if anybody would be interested that i know.
You need to post this in the Monsters for sale forum.
That's where my bike sold.
My opinion of other outlets for posting a sale of a Monster? Craigslist = Craplist

Craiglist is crappy but hey its free!! Mine actually sold through there. The more exposure the better

I bought my monster and sold my dirtbike (as well as mc gear and a rear stand) on craigslist.
If you post it on craigslist, just refuse to negotiate through email. That cuts out most of the idiot time wasters and only the people semi interested in buying will contact you by phone, then only those serious will come look at the bike and negotiate. I've sold two bikes that way, the only way to use cl...
Lemme qualify my issue.
When I listed my bike on CL, I had a dozen people email me to say they were interested. 4 of them scheduled time to see the bike, only to cancel hours beforehand. It was like no one took the sale seriously. It was a true waste of my time.
CL is a gamble, but this late in the season Pat needs all the exposure he can get, so what the hell. FWIW, I sold my old CB on CL pretty fast. [bacon]
edit: - post this on WERA too
Good luck [thumbsup]
