Good video, covers sizing, and whether it's good or not if it falls off the bike to the floor.
Also covers DIY painting being ok or not.

haha, Jay is funny.
yeah guys, make sure ur GF is wearing right size bra LOL
I love that site. Jay has a lot of cool cars and the last couple of videos about motorcycle gear have been pretty good.
Great Video.
Good to see Jay promoting good safety.
I am pretty sure I have the right size helmet. I was fitted by dainese [thumbsup]
I also liked the the part about not using Bluetooth in your helmet. [thumbsup]
very cool. [thumbsup]
makes me wonder how off my large lid was/is in fit. also makes me wonder if when buying a new lid i'll be able to get anybody who can properly size my noggin...
Can't wait to watch it too bad i'm at work! Ahhhhhhhhh [bang]
Ok i snuck it in, great video! Wish they went into sizing a bit more though
Thanks for the link ML.
Have to protect the "soft nugget center". [laugh]
Very cool.
+1 for Jay promoting safety.
So I wonder if my Shoei is still good, it's fallen off my bike no less than three times and has a few chips in it.
Or maybe it's best to leave it alone, or turn it into a hanging planter.
+1, +1, +1.
I started out with a Scorpion helmet (which I'm sure there is nothing wrong with, safety wise), that really didn't fit me right. It started to bother me and get annoying after about an hour of wear to the point of distraction. The best thing I did was buy my Arai helmet.
Thanks Jay for suggesting that it really is stupid not to wear a helmet! [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
That was great -- thanks for sharing! Though I did wince pretty hard at the footage of Nakano's crash -- not the crash so much, as bad as it was, but the medics WRENCHING his helmet off even as they're preparing to strap him to a back board! :o :o :o
^
I noticed that too.
you all probably know this already but...
the problem with a dropped helmet is the impact can compromise the internal padding (the stuff that actually protects your dome by absorbing the energy of impact) in a way that you will never be able to tell. well, that is until you need it in an accident and it isn't able to protect you as well if it could (if at all). the same rule applies to helmets that have been in accidents. once the internals of the helmet have absorbed impact energy, it cannot do it again.
I'm glad he mentioned the dropped helmet issue. So dropped helmets (such as dropped off the seat or bar) are still good because there is no weight inside and the outer shell just dissipates the energy with out transferring it to the inside. :)

Exactly!
Drop it all you want, it's still good!!
good stuff, thanks!
Thanks for posting that... good info.
It's a great site I've been watching it for a little while.
I do like that he promotes safety but I do often see him riding without gloves.
