Exactly.  Looks stupid.  Though I will say that the engine and the engine alone does look kind of nice

There is some degree of engineering in there :o

How exactly would one "modify" an Enzo motor to run in that thing?  Just hack 2/3 of it off?

That was my first thought. I bet I could ride that for all of 20 minutes. It just looks so rideable and comfy!  ;)

I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone here that couldn't come up with another V4 bike they'd rather have.   ;)

I'm sure it's very aerodynamic ... without a rider!  [bang]

I don't get how industrial designers make money putting out garbage like that. I'd be ashamed if I worked for Ferrari and saw this passed around the net, its a damn disgrace.

That is what I was thinking.  The bike or any bike should be built to function with both rider and bike.  Not the bike alone.  Same concept can be said about the form of the bike

A rider on that thing would look out of place.  Like your riding a giant red Dil-0.

Tell me that swing arm isn't going to hit the lip of the body the first time it bounces.

It really is a horribly executed concept.

What ever Ferrari designs....including a motorcycle, will be mega bucks . If Ferrari put their mind to making a MotoGP bike , I think they would be very competitive in the sport like they have been in Formula 1.

They just aren't into serious bike builing at this time except maybe a scooter line in the near future.  Dolph

If i'm reading this right, it doesn't actually have anything to do with Ferrari other than that some asshat decided to use their name and engine in his flight of fancy.

The engine is sweet looking but for the rest... a disgrace to Ferrari

Not only would it ride out from under you.  As you slid off the back, you would singe both of your nuts on the exhaust pipes.

Does this remind anyone of the Tomahawk, Dodges's crazy four wheeled motorcycle concept.. thing?

Tomahawk was far cooler.

100% correct. I'm not sure how anyone determined that they did. Mr. Asshat took a bunch of pics off the web for the engine, wheels, brakes, and went to town on photochop for the rest. There is no "serious engineering" here - thankfully!

Somebody get a pic without the body and photoshop something decent onto it.

Don't think Ferrari would go two wheels but Maserati did.  This bike is in the Barber Museum in Birmingham and if you haven't been there, it is fabuloso.               (http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/dd344/spyvito/DSC00346.jpg)

There was a "Ferrari" motorcycle at one time in the mid-sixties.  It had nothing to do with Ferrari Spa though.

The Scuderia Ferrari DID have a raceteam of motorcycles in the early days before they started running the Alfa raceteam. (http://www.modelfoxbrianza.it/MotoScuderia.htm)

As for Amir's "Ferrari V4 motorcycle" as pictured above?  Ferrari just stepped in and slapped with with a restraining order for use of their name, identification, etc that he put on the illustration created.  Thus he has had to remove from this website else face more draconian action from Ferrari.  (too bad because I thought it was rather cool looking -- everyone realized it wasn't really a "Ferrari")
