Title: Helimot Fall Sale
Post by: Spidey on September 26, 2008, 04:03:40 PM
Helimot is having a sale for the next two months.  Basically, they're waiving the $240 custom sizing fee.  Their basic 1 piece is $1395 plus tax or $1315 plus tax for a 2 piece.  That's a steal.

www.helimot.com

If you've been wanting a custom Helimot motorcycle suit but have been waiting for a "DEAL," here it is. We're offering FREE custom sizing for all suits ordered during October and November. This is typically about $240 but varies depending on your size and the model you choose. Just make your initial $400 deposit, then come in and get measured (or send us your measurements) and make the second $400 deposit all in the October/November time frame. You can call the shop (yes, even now, before October 1) and make the first deposit and that gets your place in line. Call or email with any questions. [ 9/25/2008 ]

Congrats on the new suit!  What's it going to look like?  What options didja get?

I also picked up a new suit, but not a Helimot.  Looking forward to a few rides this winter to break it in.

Not sure.  I just want to take advantage of the sale.  Going in for a fitting next weekend.  It'll be really basic.  I'll prolly go all black, perf'd front, speed hump and mebbe Warren across the hump in red (or maybe no lettering -- not sure).  I don't need--or particularly like--flashy.  It's only good if you're racing and I'm not anymore.  It's just be a good, simple suit to solidify my relationship with the asphalt.

Why?  (other than the grammatical error)  I want a suit that's gonna make me comfortable being at one with the ground.  All my other suits seem to draw to me to the ground whether I wanted to be there or not.  Often.
