So after riding about 10 miles with my gas light on the other day I parked it in the garage. When I went out to start the bike today NOTHING happen.
I put the key on and turn it to ON and nothing happens, the gauges dont turn on nothing.
Does anyone know what this may be?
I cant get the bike to a shop because it wont even turn on

I dont know how to check, and I have read that it is a really bad idea to charge it with a car.
What should i do to find out if the battery is dead.
Also, any particular reason it would die in a day or two?
Not necessarily catastrophic to jump it, though push starting it, in case it is a dead battery, is a safer option.+
We need more details on this, Year? model? do the gauges sweep? is the immobilizer light on? has it had any recent work? etc etc etc

you're a new member. does that mean you have a new bike. a 696 perhaps?
did you leave the key in the parking like setting. turned one past the lock?
that'll kill your battery fast.
if you're shop didnt put leads to the battery for a charger (mine did, cool thing for a dealer to do) then you'll have to take off the panels and move the tank out of the way to get to the battery, get a bike charger from walmart or sears somewhere. they even have ones that plug into car outlets as well as wall plugs.
i got a kit that came with leads so you wont have to pull apart the bike next time to charge the battery.
this is all assuming you have a 696. if not, you'll have to wait for other guys to chime in. i never had my old M900's battery die, never even knew where it was.

The gauges do not sweep. LITERALLY nothing happens when i put my key in and turn it on. The bike just stays as if the key isnt in.
Could it be the ignition?
I tried to roll start it and it didnt work.
I DID LEAVE IT IN THE PARKING SETTING FOR TWO DAYS. Would that drain the battery?
if that's like the new 696, yeah, it leaves a faint light on the whole time. an overnight might make it on a good battery, but a couple of days.. doubt it.
pushstarting a bike... hmmm... put it in 5th have someone push you, drop the clutch??? [moto] but better double check that with the experts here.
Im going to try and get a charger tomorrow, hopefully that works.

Well that explains it. You pretty much left your lights on for 2 days. Of course the battery is drained. I have jumpstarted a bike with a car several times. Actually, I did one today. I haven't had any problems with it but you want to be careful with what you do.
You might want to consider getting a battery tender, they're pretty cheap, only like 30 bucks. Leave it on overnight, and your bike should start just fine.

I usually just put it in 2nd and coast it down a little hill, pop the clutch and voila!

I've jump started my bike from a car too after leaving the lights on all day. It works. You shouldn't die. And +1 on the tender.

You could unplug the front parking light bulb and the rear bulb so in case you ever did leave it in park, it wont turn anything on.
