A post in General Monster inspired me to do a Google image search for "huge exhuast", which paved the way to this website (http://www.heferito.com/stupidriceboys.asp).
There're a ton of laughs to be had there. ;D
Here's one of my favorites...

HYUNDAI! This car has 91 HP! With his performance mods it might be up to 93 HP. I think that the Edmund's Road Test of this car speaks for itself. "Slowest Car we've tested yet" is one quote. You can read the whole thing here (http://www.heferito.com/hyundai_review.htm), it's worth checking out.. On this specimen I really like the custom electrical tape blacking out the taillights. I heard this car trying to pass another car and it was the worst sound ever.
The leafblower supercharger one is pretty awesome too. [laugh]
Enjoy. [thumbsup]
that riding mower w/the CAI and spoiler is P-I-M-P!!!

Yeah, that one's pretty good. ;D
Stupidest thing I've ever seen on a vehicle: Ball... sack... :o The FIRST one I saw was on a blinged out Ford Explorer. ??? I thought it was a pair of boxing gloves first since it was silver and hanging under the trailer hitch. Then I realized what it was. [puke] I was so stunned when I saw it on another car that I almost crashed. But the other car I saw it on was a plain Toyota Highlander and it was flesh tone. [puke]
sshhhhh... don't talk smack.

I saw a Harley with those last year at a rest stop.
Really, really tiny ones. ;D
[roll]
you have no idea how cool the ball sack is
but you can't hang them from the hitch
the proper application of the ball sack is to:
1) get off the computer and go kill something with with balls
2) gut said something with balls
3) cut off balls
4) empty balls from sack
5) salt sack
6) stretch sack over shift knob in your 72-78 Chev 4x4
7) bask in the coolness
It's not exactly rice, and for all I know it may be on that site (don't have time to check it out right now) but this is one of my favs.

And he didn't even tint the windows.
sauerkraut burner
During the height of the coffee can craze
my buddy's and I (yes we had been drinking)
chopped off the cat' and muffler then
welded an old supertrapp my pops had laying around from one of his race cars
to my Jeep
initially as a joke
except it really made the jeep sound good
and it performed amazing
I left it on for a year
torn between satisfaction and complete embarrassment
I've though of just welding an empty coffee can to the tailpipe on my Taurus ~
JM
Before the whole ricer craze (and the Fast and The Furious movies)...I had a Datsun 260Z. It had a Holley carb...a nice header (6 into 2)...dual straight pipes into a pair of Super Traps...
The thing sounded AWESOME! And it was a little rocket. I miss that car. Wish I had followed through with my plans to convert it into a right hand drive...

There was a guy at my former workplace that had a slightly smaller one (large soup can, perhaps) welded onto the tailpipe of a 4-door Chevy Corsica.
The car was blue and sported green rally stripes and a huge rear wing made of wood (also green, along with the green stock steel wheels). Japanese letter decals all over the windows, stick-on fender vents, the works. However, word has it that he was mocking the ricers.
Funniest thing. Wish I still had the pics I took of it.

Does anyone know what the build quality is now?

I was still in high school when the first FnF came out. My buddies and I welded a folgers coffee can to my mitsubishi (original roast FYI). Sadly, when I was in high school my welding skills weren't great, and it only lasted 2 days [laugh]

that is freakin' awesome!
and, all things considered, I'd be more likely to buy a new hyundai over a honda...

It does look pretty interesting. I wonder how well it performs. Put on some sort of remote control ECU to regulate the speed and match it with the engine.
Im pretty sure there is some performance gain.
Dont get me wrong. I think it is funny as hell but if I had a car to mess around with, It is an option I would consider.
