Last week sometime, I ordered a set of comp works footpegs for my S4Rt.
They arrived promptly/well packaged. Problem was, they didn't quite fit. Unfortunatly, the flat part of the peg that rests against the rear set to keep it level was a smidge too long. I wrote an email to MP, I think on a fri or sat night.....surprisingly the email was responded to within an hour or so. I didn't anticipate any problems, and was just writing to find out if others have had the same trouble or no. I was going to take my bench grinder to the peg to fit it up, but never got around to it. Bike is down for powdercoat, and without a list of things to do on it, I quickly forgot about the pegs.
I get an email tuesday, saying MP has shipped another set of pegs for a SBK to me. They didn't demand the other set back, just shipped out another set. They arrived today, pegs for a 999....they fit perfect. They are a whole 1/8" shorter than the monster pegs, but still a good 1/2-3/4" longer than the stockers, black, and most importantly much more non-skid than the stockers are.
Keep in mind this is on a piddly set of $50 foot pegs. MP might make 30-40% on them, so thats a lot of trouble for $15! Customer service like that should be talked about, because unfortunatly in todays world, it's the exception, not the standard.
Going out of your way has made a customer out of me Jeff and the others that work at MP. Simple little crap like this is what keep picky fabricators like me coming back.
I'll gladly purchase from you guys again (set aside a set of black handlebars for me when they come back in please)

+1. Jeff at Monsterparts is an AWESOME GUY. He's got a good heart and takes care of all his customers.
Now...if they can get that vizitech rear light in stock........ ;D
I've always dealt with Jeff, and I've always been extremely happy with the service he gives.
+3 or 4 here... (at least)
It's best to catch Jeff when he's sober [beer]

lots-o-monster parts goodies on the m750te
<not helping his business reputation>
When is Jeff ever sober? [drink]
Sometimes he gets confused on the orders..... My clip-ons came in a box with olives and a lil umbrella in it.

His year long non-competitive clause should be getting close to finished assuming it goes from the date VS bought the DML (Sept '07) - I wonder if he will start poking around here ???

I hope so [thumbsup]
So there really is a no compete clause?
And why cant be a member?
Jeff and Monsterparts really is good people!
If you've seen Julia's cf monster, you've seen a few grand of Monsterparts parts. I'll happily keep throwing money and new customers at Jeff. He's literally the best customer service I've ever experienced.

Yes there is (was) between himself and VS - he could not start another motorcycle forum.

I think he is of the 'better safe than sorry approach', and not even poking around here, just to avoid any conflicts with VS. Remember, it was a rocky transition, and VS was probably watching him/us pretty close.

I too, can say that I've had very good experiences with Jeff / Monsterparts.
