Hey all i was going to put these mirrors on my 1098 but decided against it. Figured the money is better put towards some heated gear. So i have two CRG LS Barend mirrors for sale. 70$ each and we can arrange a pickup or i can ship them, probably 5$ more or something. Figured i will give you all first dibs before i go into the parts section.
Hey Ben.. I might be interested in one of them. Does that include the adapter?

Pat - I might have a spare adapter laying around for you if he doesn't have one.
Im holding onto the adapters, they make good bar end sliders ;) They were on the bike for about 1800miles by the way

Actually, even the low setting on this vest is pretty damned warm. On rides, I cycled it on and off throughout the ride. Remember, if you layer this properly, you're wearing a t-shirt, then this, then fleece then protective gear. It'll be REAL snug and the additional layers will definitely preserve the heat. I say again - there is no way you can have the heat on for 4 straight hours.
Also - I tend to get more than 4 hours on this vest... just sayin'
I did get the second battery for the really long rides, but in the 2 rides I used it, I never swapped the batteries. +1 for preserving the power.
I hope to have a new bike in time to enjoy some winter riding [thumbsup] Maybe not the 15* ride GC and I took the first week of January, but who knows. Crotona midnight run, anyone???!!! 8) [moto]
I have the Jett vest and also bought a second battery but never had to change during a ride. The high setting is too damn hot and usually leave it on low if I'm layered properly. On low you you will get more than four hours out of it. The other thing I like about it is that it's easy to just put on even for short runs around town. The only gripe is I wish they would have ran another heating element in the front of the vest as all of them are in the back. I would buy one again tomorrow if they offered a full heated vest and actually need the second battery. I'm sure wired vests would probably perform better but for something battery powered, it's a pretty good deal.
The Jett vest with the Aerostich windstopper shirt was a great investment.

Thanks for the tips everybody, im going to go with the tourmaster vest, i looked and the connections are a real easy hookup also the heat from the reviews of it is supposed to be extremely even. If my bike puts out the power i would rather just use that. Now where can i get that aerostitch windstopper shirt?
Pat - I've got an adapter you can have.
