I can sort of see it. Shorter main frame with thicker tubes supporting engine and subframe.
"it's blatantly obvious that the Monster 1100 is an improvement over the earlier Monsters"
Really?? BLATANTLY??

Also thread jack,
I've been waiting for that jacket to go down in price a little, so far $535 otd.
Sorry for thread jack.
Dan.
It certainly gets a good wrap.
I am looking forward to it hitting the showroom floor and getting a leg over it.
Been thinking and waiting for a little while about changing the 620.

B/c you can't see the headlight?
Ahh yes, that headlight, a thing of beauty it is. Not only is it gorgeous, it actually performs better than my Honda VFR head light, and that aint an easy thing to do. I am amazed at how well it lights up the sides of the road with the high beam on.

No front fork reflector surgery necessary!?
great review, thanks for posting that! still prefer the style of my old M1000 but with all the functional improvments and the SSS I am very tempted for this new bike...
Still looking forward to seeing a pic of the S version in white. If anyone has a pic, please post it!

Cool thanks, last time I looked on that site, the white one wasn't there yet. I bet it would look cool with the gold wheels too that match the forks!
Lets hope for a Tricolore next year and the end of the line [evil]
Not even Lara Croft is using a Ducati in the new game anymore...why ? i ask why ?

That's a U.S. requirement....
There is also a brief review on the web site of UK magazine Superbike.

Click the photo shown on the right and view it at actual size, not scaled. It shows quite a lot of detail of the bike.

Very cool, that photo is really high res!
Is it just me or is the brake line sticking way out like a loop just waiting to get caught on something?
Oh and the rider is crossed up [laugh]
QuoteIs it just me or is the brake line sticking way out like a loop just waiting to get caught on something?
It looks as if the suspension is compressed, possibly due the cornering forces ??? thats why the brake line is bulging.
Here are some more photos and some vids. from Raptors and Rockets
