I got a letter from Austin... Anyone else?
haven't checked the mail in a couple of days. what'd it say?
ruh oh
the deferral date is 10/17, but they don't have proof of compliance, but my balance is 0.
Very confusing... :P
received no letter...i paid my attorney fee, and the court cost. my understanding was that we were all good after that
Just got off the phone with the attorney's office.
They said it's a form letter. It shows a balance of 0.
Normally you have to take a class for this, but they got that waived, so we just have to STAY THE HELL OUT OF AUSTIN until the 18th...
After that, it's open season ;D
Thanks for the info.

You'll appreciate this. My Dad was a God damn piece of work. I pale in comparison even though I try to uphold the family tradition of being a jackass/pain in the ass. On his 50th birthday my sister and I bought him a real jackass as a present and had it in the backyard of our north Dallas home. All his friends showed up (they were the "rat pack" and he was referred to as "jackass#1", that's the way they would ask for him on the phone!! "Is Jackass#1 there?") Pretty damn funny! Anyway, my Mom had triangular penant flags made up with a silhouette of a donkey and a #1 on the penants and everyone was waving one when he came home from work for the party. I still have some in my tool box as a reminder. It was a hoot! Best part was the jackass that my sister and I bought was pregnant! We got two for one! When she had her foal my Dad named it after my Mom and the mother jackass was named after my aunt! They lived in peace and harmony forever at our farm and would do anything for an oatmeal cookie. Not a bad life afterall! Even for a jackass. This jackass doesn't have near the peaceful existence as they did! [laugh] Jackasses just seem to run in our family... what can I say? I assume there are no arguments? [laugh]
