Title: Front Sprocket Torque
Post by: minnesotamonster on October 08, 2008, 10:48:07 AM
Don't know if this should be in tech or accessories and mods, but here goes.

Switching over to the 14t sometime this week and wondering what the torque should be for the two front sprocket bolts. Also, I think I read somewhere about using moly grease (grease B) on it instead of loctite? Can I find that locally? Thanks for the help.

edit: Bike is a 2001 m600.

The 5mm screws function is to hold the retaining plate to the sprocket, use some blue loctite and torque them to 6Nm

+1, the moly grease is for the large sprocket nuts used on the S4 and m1000 etc.
