Not very nice. >:(
I've heard various reports on this from:
"Someone purposefully dumped oil on the corner"
to
"Someone crashed and it dumped oil on the corner"
Not sure what the deal is/was...
I heard it was on both lanes so unless the oil spilled originally on a incline or someone crashed and caused the spill on both lanes it sounds suspicious :-\
A cop rolled up in a squad car in front and announced it over his PA. "Someone purposely dumped oil across the road, you can't go around it. One mile [out]. Be careful."
Someone risked man slaughter doing that. Not sure if I should be posting this here on on BARF, but what are we doing to deserve this? Ok, lots of bike traffic in that area big deal. That's a mighty extreme thing to do. Totally psycho. I just don't understand how cyclists are de-humanized making people so comfortable to potential endanger and or kill people on two wheels. We've all got traffic stories I'm sure. wtf?

Sure looks intentional to me :-\

I ride that route at least once a week.
That's make the beast with two backsed up >:(
Shitty to see but not unexpected for that area. Moike got hit by that piece of cinder block last year then those three people put that clothes line across the road and hit that guy (they obviously went to jail)
Glad I've only heard of one accident so far.
looks real suspicious. hope nobody got hurt. hope the LEOs catch those at fault.
I hit that yesterday on my way up to LDD. It scared the crap out of me--my first thought was that it was an ice patch, but it was WAY too warm for that...it affected the way I rode the rest of the day.
