(on the headlight)
tape not needed
Are you taking the headlight off?
custom headlight cover made by the Bonwilder. Headlight will be unplugged too........legal right?
Unplugged is good, but just a convenience...
The idea behind the tape is that if the glass breaks in a crash the glass is kinda held together & has less of a chance of going everywhere.
That's why I take mine off ;D
Most disappointing thread ever :(
who needs a headlight anyway??? :P

That's a good idea, take off everything possible for less breakage potential.
Man, I can't believe how narrow that bike is without the front stuff on it. Only the tank sticking out a little beyond the forks.
Thanks Slag my man [thumbsup] 4 keeping me straight up. [clap]
Jus trying to keep you out of trouble ;D

there are 4 PS1000LE 4 sale on ebay right now. One has the coolest exhaust ever for the SC models (Zard full system), nothing sweeter than that exhaust. Anyone want to buy a 2/1 with 3K miles on it?

That is definately one of the most beautiful, sexy bikes made in recent memory. So retro mod and clean. It's like a custom from the factory. And that Zard system looks so cool. I could see one of these in my future and in my garage [thumbsup].
Not a Zard fan myself... Fugly!!!!!
I am more likely to pick up the Aprilia 125 right now. That bike is COOL [thumbsup]

Is that the one Eruosport has on the showroom floor at the moment?
That is the one ;D They have three of them. Paperwork should be in this week. I will only buy it if I think that I can make it street legal. A friend has a street legal KTM 2 stroke. Will ask him tomorrow how he did it.

I asked Tony that same question because I need something that my 14 yo son can ride to school and also have some track time to boot! So @ $5500 it's almost the same as getting him a nice scooter or Kawi z250 ($3500) to drive to school. Tony said he didn't know if it'd pass emissions inspection because two strokes are supposedly not allowed on the road anymore and you can't get them registered for the road is what he said. Track bike only.
That is true, but it CAN be done. The rick is to use a jiffy lube type place. They cannot tell a 2 stroke from a 4. And since they do not actually test the emissions then you can slide through. The guys on thumpertalk pull it off all of the time.
Yes the title does say 'for offroad use only,' but that is not a stumbling block in texas. I really had to figure the system out to get my unimog tagged (title wasn't in english!!)
