Where is this mysterious orange wire that you need to splice into???
I've looked all over my bike and the only wire that i found to be somewhat like it said was not even orange. it was brown. I know Power commander 3 has the same thing, but i still cant find it.
Should be off of the TPS.
The TPS was a little pregnant dog to find. It took me the better part of an hour to find it [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]
[roll] still cant find it. Where the make the beast with two backs is this damn TPS connector? i fired up the bike without it. it idles fine. But im pretty sure the TPS is important.
anyone got a pic of where it is on an S2R1000?
DOH, i snapped a pic of my bike with the airbox off. (put my airbox back on.
BAM there it is. behind the frame. lol
brb gonna go to the garage and hook that bad boy up and go for a midnight ride!!

I know :-[
Well i took the bike out, theres a massive flat spot at the 4.5k range.
im using map for a stock S2R1000. i havent been able to really try the bike because that 4.5k flat spot is scary. its like hitting the rev limiter and then some. Low end is much much more smoother though. idle isnt so great.
I have no idea why its doing that, other then theres something wrong with the map I am using. :( i thought there was gonna be a huge difference. I have other maps i can play with. so I will try those out first before i suspect anything else.
You really should have the map adjusted on a dyno, lest you suffer more disappointments

very very true. But I have a bunch of mods on my mind right now that would make it pointless to dyno right now, so i am trying to get it running smooth first.
it turns out the RB epicenter RapidbikeUSA is only a few minutes from my house, so i will be going there to get the dyno tuning done.
