Not sure where this is going but it can't be good. I guess a floor can crack without foundation issues. Good luck.

Causes of a Cracked Foundation
The most common cause of a home's cracked foundation is dryness in the surrounding soil. This is particularly prevalent during the hot summer months when rainfall is slack. It's easy to spot when problems are on the way â€" the soil draws away from the concrete slab at the edges of the home.
Avoiding a Cracked Foundation Repair Job
As might be imagined, avoiding a cracked foundation repair (due to dry conditions) is simply a matter of preventive maintenance. As mentioned above, during dry periods, the soil shrinks and pulls away from the concrete slab.
When the soil pulls approximately 1 1/2†away from the slab, connect enough soaker hoses together to run around the perimeter of the home, capping one end and leaving the other end accessible for connecting to a garden hose.
Push the soaker hose into the gap between the slab and the soil. It may be necessary to temporarily anchor it in place using bricks or other heavy objects. New hose wants to return to its coil shape. After one or two watering sessions, it will conform.
Watering a Concrete Slab
Once the soaker hose is in place and the garden hose is connected to it, simply turn the water on. The soaker hose will bleed water evenly around the slab's perimeter. Once the ground that supports the concrete foundation is saturated, it will support the home properly.
Different climates vary, but as a rule of thumb, thirty minutes every other day is all that's required to keep the slab and surrounding soil stable.

Not sure if anythign will get this back on topic, but here is our garage mid engine swap thrash last month. My floor is painted, and cracked [roll] See if you can spot the two motorcycles in the picture ;D

I like the stained concrete look, and if you seal it well it should be stain resistant after that. The epoxy seems to soften the floor somewhat, but it tears instaed of ships. We had a bad experience dragging a lift over an epoxied floor at cresson. I am definitely a proponent of stain over messing with the epoxy.

I agree. Mine seems to be pretty tough as far as chips and stains but it is defenseless against the ravages of the cracks returning. Just fractured the heck out of the paint all over the garage floor. Had no problems with the epoxy paint itself and really like the light gray color. Reflects plenty of light and you can find dropped bolts, washers, nuts. etc, real easy. But now I am screwed because of all the cracks. My dream garage floor is now a nightmare. Too late to go back now and strip it and stain it. Next house the garage will be stained for sure! [thumbsup]

One probelm with a freshly painted floor, it makes the walls look like crap, so you paint the walls, which make the ceiling look bad, so ... Then you start washing the garage floor... that lasted for months.
Refer to avatar at left for garage pic. Ah, second home.
