Title: Anybody use Google Earth to track their routes?
Post by: Takster on October 16, 2008, 08:49:06 PM
...just thought it'd be cool if we had some of our favorite New England routes available for people to check out.  I'm planning to do some exploring this weekend, and I'm looking for places to go.  In any case, it'd be great if we could have a bunch of routes that we could share.

Thanks.  Lot's of little 15 minute loops and such.

I'm piecing together a long loop from other little tidbits.  Probably up by Mt. Wachusett, around Quabbin, out through South Deerfield and back.  Maybe I can get the ball rolling.  There may be photos involved.... we'll see how motivated I get this weekend.

I didn't realize that they have a caste system over there. I'm a member and was logged in.

I knew I didn't want much to do with NEDOC.

Maybe next years Mountain Dog rides won't be open to NEDOC members.

That sounds pretty stupid too.  [roll]

That also makes me regret sharing a ride route with them...

doesn't matter Ted got what he wanted...

and so did I.

I've been doing a lot of programming with Google Earth and Maps lately, maybe once I move out that way (1.5 mos) I can find the time to work on a site for NE rides.

Well then, a early welcome to the Northeast to you.  One of my closest friends lives in CO. Springs right now... she is a prof at CO College.  I was out there last year.  It's a gorgeous state!
