Hi,
Hi and Moin (like we say over here),
found this forum today and liked what I saw.
After joining I would like to take the opportunity to say a few words about myself and whats going on over here:
- bought my Monster S4R 2 years ago in Bavaria. It's my first DUCATI, had a Triumph Speed Triple before
- we do some serious tour-biking in the alps and whereever our ideas take us
- here are some pics of this years longest tour: night train to vienna / austria, hungary, croatia, slowenia, italy, czek republik. picture album: http://picasaweb.google.com/triumphspeedtriple/ZumBalkanNurAufKetten#
- we visited DUCATI factory in Bologna last december because of the championship-party which was going on in town

- my brother is a graphic-designer. He did some nice Monster & Ducati fan-shirts for our local store. The feedback was overwhelming so produced some more. If someone is interested, just write a short email.
Cheers from Germany, Marco

...A business trip from CA to Murnau Bavaria / Germany. How cool is that? In what kind of business are you underway (if I may ask)?

I work for a biotech company, we sell research instrumentation to pharmaceutical companies and universities. I go around the world and train our customers (and our sales and support staff) in how to use it and how to analyze their data.
Although recently, it's been more trips to US/Canada and Asia, less so to Europe.
