FUN!!! Thanks! [thumbsup] [moto]
I've already ordered all mine for download [thumbsup]
Looking at these pics makes me want to get back out there [moto] soooo much to learn!!! Sooo much fun to be had!!!! Woo Hoo!
Intermediate group set 3
Awesome pic of Tommy and Bonnie!! ;) You can tell she's got plans to get around him!! Soooo glad youre okay Bonnie. When are we doing it again ;D Should I get the tank touched up before or after [laugh]
Yup! Some great shots from the weekend. I always buy all the pics at trackdays since i use it for critique and figure out what I need to work on the most (it's a long list so I have to prioritize!). My body position looks so clumsy compared to the smooth looking guys...
I shouldn't do this but...he he... [evil] Since everybody had to go through tech and made sure that all the tape was in place, take a look at Jeff and Derrick's bikes. Lights on, NO TAPE.

Well... they use their mirrors to watch you when they are in front of you, and also they know how to save a lowside with their knee and throttle... so the use of the tape isn't a big concern with those guys.

Plus, since they have their brake lights, I can see their braking points when chasing ;D

I was going to mention that to them since the brakelights were distracting...but that was the session that they black flagged everyone in (during the time they went out in intermediate). They should've taped the brakelights or pulled a fuse...but it's nitpicking [laugh]
is it just me or do the pics not look near as crisp and focused as Jim's pics? are the downloaded articles a better resolution? just saying, because Jim's pics look hella good. i think next time Jim needs to be given a press pass or something so he can have free reign to take pics from wherever.

I'm sure the Hart Photo copies you pay for and download are much better looking than what you see on their website, and much better looking that anything I took.
Catie has gone down this road. Hart has sole rights to commercial photography in the infield. Private people can take pictures from the infield, but must have the same type of liability insurance that Hart does. It wasn't very expensive if I remember correctly. Contact Kurt at MSR for more info.

They're better but they are not adjusted for contrast, brightness, saturation, etc. I'm sure if you order a big print from him, that he'll process those further but there's enough resolution and he does use professional Canon L-lenses. These are his images that I have played with a bit. http://tinyurl.com/45p9rv (http://tinyurl.com/45p9rv)
Those are also low resolution versions. They look much better in full resolution since you can see all the details.
nice! [thumbsup]

He was all over the freaking place. Had to stop the guy on a couple of occasions because he didn't see the bikes coming at him.

That also wasn't Hart (who is a lot more experienced). Our photog is still trying to get more comfortable with bikes...
Here's my favorite one of the day so far...primarily since I spent several sessions behind that 1098r and could not find a way to pass (no passing in corners in Intermediate). Enjoyed the chase!

Yes, I cropped and tweaked this image.

I'm downloading now [thumbsup]
179 MBs...
still downloading :P
A few more of my favs (all with a little bit of 'extra' by me):
One of the reasons why I like to buy my photos is to do self-critique on my body position. In this one, I realized that I am a bit crossed up and my head needs to be much further to my left. That should allow me to keep the same lean angle but go faster using the same line. Something to work on next time...
In this next two, I notice I don't hang off as much on my right turns, but the good news is I'm not as crossed-up as my left turns and actually am leading with my head. Need to work on that one too...

I viewed all of my photos for critique as well - nothing more useful than a still shot to figure out what you are doing right and wrong! Very helpful!! ;) [moto]
