Title: Thor Supermoto for track days
Post by: OverCaffeinated on October 22, 2008, 10:14:18 AM
I've been looking for some good racing leathers for the occasional track day, but also inexpensive. I found these Thor Supermotos, which I really like, but have a few concerns about. First they are described as having a more upright riding position for supermoto racing, is that going to hinder sport bike type riding? Neither the suit or pants come with knee sliders. Finally, as far as I can tell, the pants and jacket do not attached to each other in any way. I have had no experience with the Thor brand, so what do y'all think?

The lack of the sliders is a downside IMO.

Not sure if the cut will hinder sportbike riding position.

it also seems to me that a zipped connection or one piece suit would be necessary for sportbike track use...

but what do I know? we don't even have a track.  :)

I still think its a cool suit. But realistically not a good for the track. I did however just get a good deal on a Teknic one piece.
