Nice work.
Still undecided about the helmet yet to have a good report about Nolan ???
Dock, can you wear them on a hot day and post a report, the air flow looks better than the Vertigo's. the replaceable sole looks the biz as well. well done!
Should be wearing them on the net track day so ill let you know, No doubt there will be a breaking in period so only time can tell [popcorn]
I also got some new booties, so now you can see my G spot

... I'd been looking for that thing everywhere ... hadn't thought to look on her shin - it's pretty convenient there.
But for a bit of useless trivia ... if any of you guys need a (euro) size 37 boot these could be the model for you (or if you have a pre-teen kiddie looking for sport style riding boots ;D)

sometimes it's not about the destination but the enjoyment of the journey. enjoy!

I got the sidi B2 from the states back when our dollar was worth a bit, love em, very comfortable with good airflow but they do tend to squeak a bit so I do get followed by the odd cat or two.
Changed my mind to many stringy fiddley bits on the sidi :-\
Went for the Alpinestar instead [thumbsup]

I've had sidi cycling shoes for some time once you get used to the Techno buckle's they work quite well but alpinstars are cool as always
brother, you are official part of Team Power Ranger.

I did the calculations on the new Sidi Vortice - they went from 3 per shoe adjustments (Vertigo Corsa) to something like 8 or 9 each shoe! and now the first person that buys them changes them for that exact reason.
Seriously Sidi, use me as a test pilot!

Cant agree more spider, punished myself in the showroom with A/C on, cant imagin what it would be like at the track after 10 hard laps in 35 degree heat :o

fark me Matty do they come with batteries ???
Looks like the came from a Star wars film ;D
I think they are the ones I've/we've seen over at Frasers.
Might see if they have them on sale on the Official Opening day.
At least I'm pretty sure they are the ones I've seen, I can't find a photo of the other side which will help me confirm.
Scratch that they are not the ones I've seen.
I can drop my battery subscription to duracell.
I'm sending out a membership form to you Matty, welcome aboard to Team Power Ranger!
Haven't laid out any $$$ yet just been looking at them.
But as I said I now don't think they are the ones I've seen.
AA's on hold for now.

Here is a pic of the ozmonster guys meeting with the Harley owners group on their last ride.

no way! check their knees: pucks, check their elbows: armour.....they aren't harley/augusta riders! ;D
(sorry WA about the constant harley/MV crap - I'm just bitter and resentful, a great Italian brand being taken over - well......)
HOW TO LOWER A BIKE FOR $500 USING ONLY A 10MM SPANNER.
So my old boots are a bit worn. My bike is a little tall. Bike shops want to sell me a new bike that is lower.
My solution:
I did have to learn how to adjust the gear lever - buy more tools.
And now have to break in a new pair of boots - ouch.
Imported them myself for $100 cheaper than the so-called Oz agent who didn't really want to put an order in for me anyway.
And learning how to post this damn photo took longer than all of the above [cheeky] [bang]
No Pic H. !! ;D

No Pic H. !! ;D
Took me a while Dragon.
Seems I'm more challenged technically than mechanically or vertically :P
Diadoras !! SWSBO was looking at those too ! ;)
?Diadoras? Daytonas. Are they the same thing?
Not cheap. Thought about for long time but my current boots (BMW) in urgent need of replacement after 3 years hard work. Have read of these boots lasting people 10 years and they are repairable. And I'm worth it anyway.
I can now flatfoot on my bike (on level ground [cheeky] anyway)
Wups !! Didnt look closely enough. :-[
I've had all sorts of bike boots resoled over the years !! My Gaernes I've had done probably 6 or 7 times. [thumbsup]
If Mr Minit tells you they cant be done its a load of "Old Cobblers" ;).
Cos a "PROPER" bootmaker (Cobbler ;D ) will be able to put a new under sole on and then all it takes is to get the workboot type of sole put on when the old one wears out. [thumbsup]
Heh, I keep ripping the toes outta mine. [evil] [roll]
Daytonas!
Heather.....you're my hero!
Drop me a pm and tell me where you got em.....and definitely post up a ride report....they are meant to be the ducks guts!
well done!
(and compared to a 696 ..... think of the money you saved....with my ability to rationalise shoe purchases I should be a woman!)

Spider you don't need a pair of these!!! They have built up soles to make my legs longer!!! You do not need help in that department.
Yeah I know they make normal ones for non-vertically challenged people too. [cheeky]
PM sent
