Title: How long for ECU to re-learn?
Post by: J.P. on November 01, 2008, 02:37:43 PM
Just put a FD Manipulator on the O2 sensor. Reset the computer, set it to 13.2.
Anyone know how long I should ride or restart before I should try changing the setting.
BTW- what did other folks set theirs at?
ME: 06 S2R1k, Quat D mid pipe, rest is stock.
Thanks!

From reading the thread on the other forum, it seems to take a diff amount of time per bike. And for some, the change didn't "set" 'til they ran the bike for 20 mins or so, then shut it off and on the next cycle they noticed the diff. Some took 2-3 cycles before everything settled down and was "peachy'. Also, some were having to adjust their air bleed screws for idle issues after the ECU was done "learning'...

EDIT: as for the setting. Most ended up at 13.4 from what I read.
