I wonder what a dry-type slipper clutch is. I would expect to see one in Jay Leno's garage.

I did a search so if it's a derby please delete.

NCR previed this beauty at Milan

It's a derby, but a bike that nice deserves it  ;D

Yes, but...

What got me was when they had an NCR on display at the last SBK round held at Laguna Seca and they had their millone on display saying 100 hp 300 lbs... but the bike on display was obviously not 300 pounds, as too few "voodoo" parts were present... We asked about that and then the sign went away...  :-\

So it's kinda like they're a little too quick to tout 300#, which to me devalues the accomplishment for their models or options that CAN attain it ... as well as others in the industry who continually strive for such goals.

I also thought of Alfisti's "footer" immediately.  [laugh]

I also would have no problem parkin' that set of wheels next to my monster.  Of course it would then feel like a wuss instead. ;D

Read: A dry clutch with slipper clutch action (the ability to allow the clutch to slip to avoid rear wheel lock up on aggressive or mismatched rpm downshifts).

You are too funny dude!

NO!  Not at anything approaching 100,000 Euros. Nothing's worth that kind of money, even if I did have it.

But at just over 20 large, the 1198S certainly is.

I merged the two threads under the title that was easier to find in a search.
