Collectible, he says. As though it's a plate.
I wish I could collect sbk's :)
The standard model 1198 is absolutely killing me already. God I want one. I can't afford the regular old 1198, but I can dream. And if i'm dreaming, why not for a Bayliss special?
Bayliss is my fave racer - an absolute hero so far as I'm concerned and this is a fitting tribute.
LA
Bello [thumbsup]
you can find his older Replicas 998 and 999R actually the 999R Xerox goes cheap (less than 24k)
For sure there will be one in Jay Leno's garage
I think they may be making less of these, and they'll likely sell out quicker than the 98 or 999.
On another note, how cool is it that Ducati honor their riders so much? Hayden gets a custom livery for his first day on the job and Bayliss gets commemorative limited editions when he wins, not to mention the AMA editions from a couple years ago.
I just felt something move in my pants.
Please tell me those are collectable die cast models..... I can't handle all these new sexy bikes coming out.
oh shit!
Looks like traction control is standard on the 1198S now and they've made it street legal (versus the 1098R traction control)
(sorry...back to drooling over the Bayliss)
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
In other news, anyone looking for slightly blackened soul?

no thanks.
I'd rather have the Hayden limited edition with the American flag.
[puke]
WTF was he riding the other day?!
Bayliss deserves the honor. That is one kick ass bike!
while i was watching the portugal race, i was thinking "hm, i wonder if we could get that livelry on a limited-edition bike?"
and here it is.
awesomes. [thumbsup]
Nice tribute to a GREAT rider - looks great
Racer replicas aren't for me tho' YMMV

[laugh]
How much and where do I sign up ?
It there any mention of upgrades to the HP or Torque ?
I did some checking today and it seems that the bike will not have upgraded performance .
It will have an upgraded price tag for the commemerative paint.
I was told it may not be released in the USA .
I'll bet it will.
I will stick w, the " R" I have and check out the " Street Fighter S " w, 155 HP and 85 LB.ft. of Torque. Dolph
Wow... talk about sexy time!
I won a helmet raffle one year at Laguna Seca... and I had my choice between an autographed Bayliss, Xaus, or Bostrom Replica....
I kick myself everyday for taking the Bostrom [bang]
That is a great replica... nice and clean design
ME WANT!!!
But, alas... I'm not worthy. [bow_down]

Hey C., I turned off the TC on my " R " about 1500 miles ago. So far so good.
If I was tracking it I would turn it back on probably. Dolph

I thought that was a nice keepsake. Dolph
