Somebody needs to shoot that make the beast with two backsing thing and put it out of its misery.  I love that model, but that paint scheme is grossly hideous, what's so wrong with simple paint shcemes......  they work

Nothing a rattle can of matte black wouldn't take care of /shrug

All the chain rust screams at me more than the paint job

The owner should be keel hauled then beat to death. Bad taste knows no limits. I have seen this on Ebay motors but did not have the courage to click on it. Thanks for keeping me up at night thinking about that piece of s#@t! :P

I think for once I'm grateful I can't see eBay at work.

You're looking at the bike all wrong. Think of it as a MasterCard commercial.

Ducati 900SS: $2,000 (or whatever this one ends up going for)

Track Prep: $200 and a couple of afternoons.

Track day entry fee: $250

Not getting worked up over scratching your bodywork when you wad it up coming out of a corner: priceless.

[roll] This looks like a good bike to use in a bad porno film !   [laugh]

The "streetfighter" looks sort of tanklike & BMW GS'y ugly - I like it !

I think I'm gonna be sick again. [puke] Not only is the "Streetfighter" the dumbest name in the world and the 2nd ugliest bike next to the new V-Max Yamaha but they even make the beast with two backsed up the 1098R Bayliss Replica!!! How could they?? Italian idiots!! Why not make it look like the normal Xerox livery? It worried me sick when I watched last Sunday's race when Troy had that paint job on his bike that they would do something stupid and market that model in honor of his last race. Double yuke!! My 12 year old could come up with better graphics!! I bet CutGrafix will be selling a lot of normal 1098 Xerox kits because of this. At least someone will be happy. I hope they all sit on the floor collecting dust. Poor Troy, what an insult. Oooops, gotta go... I feel it coming up again!!!! [puke]

This is what I keep hearing from different sources is that they have left the Corse inspired line of thinking for the Wall Street line of producing a lesser product thinking this will compete against what, Triumph 1050 Speed Triple, Vmax? Harley? Sorry kids, this doesn't do much for me but then that's just my limited knowledgebase opinion.

+1 Brian

Sure, it's a stoopid name. But if it's a good bike, & people flock to Ducatis, is that so wrong?!?

Financially speaking from Ducati's standpoint they have to stay competitive so this is a logical product. I like naked bikes don't get me wrong. If this is a new all together attempt then that's different. They are just being competitive in the marketplace. I just hope it doesn't take away from other areas of the company's (SBK) bikes.

Have fun on Sunday  [thumbsup]
