Our local Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapter is having a Fly-In this sat. Show starts around 10 a.m. ends about 3 ish. I may be able to give a few rides. Usually just around the pattern due to large aircraft volume.

if you fly out to Houston to pick me up i'm down [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
Damn, I just got tickets to the Texas vs Baylor game in Austin this Sat. Otherwise, I'd be a definite for the fly-in
I would love to make this but can't. Dammit! I think I told you at cdc's house this summer at Cory's going away party that my Dad was a very long time member of the (then) Confederate Air Force. He had lot's of T-6 Texans, T-28s and a L-19 tail dragger Bird Dog. Miss that connection with my Dad since he is gone. Lots of plane people are scooter people too. Every time I ride over to the Museum of Flight at Love Field when they have the B-17, B-24 and B-25 on the tarmac every April I get lots of interest in my Ducati. Gearheads are gearheads whether they are in the air or on the ground! [thumbsup] [moto] Good folks for sure. I guess you know that. ;D

Holy guacamole!!! 9 miles SE of Granbury??? Couldn't youse boids fly out of Redbird or Addison or someplace civilized? Oh, all right - I'll talk to The Sweetie and see if 4 hours in the car with me still sounds romantic. Or even tolerable. [cheeky]
