Title: Bleed screw
Post by: Mac_48 on November 05, 2008, 10:43:24 PM
Due to a F***ing asshat I am in need of a new bleed screw but idk what one I need because ducati is kind enough to not include the part # for it and only sells it with a new caliper [bang]  My service department can order a new one separately but needs to know what caliper model it is and then they can get me the new bleed screw.....does anyone know what model of caliper the 2005 S2R 800 has? I am not able to ride until I have a new bleed screw so if anyone knows I will be really happy.....thnx for the help!

broke one myself, rusted tight on an older bike. try the local auto parts store for a metric that is the same pitch. I got lucky and had a vw part so I could still ride. a bleed screw is a bleed screw , as long as it seals.

Yeah, and if you can't find it at the auto parts store, I believe I have a spare set of those calipers and can mail you a new bleed screw.
