Title: What's the problem?
Post by: TresGatos on November 06, 2008, 07:16:08 PM
Come on guys and gals it seems so many are absent or on a big downer.  The weather is great, we have good friends, out bikes are f'ing cool (ducs, japs...)

Diamond lost in the store or shop today, can't find it... BFD life goes on.  I'm gonna miss my neice's B-day (gotta work Sat), but she will live and I will ride Sunday and enjoy life.

Not sure Dax if I'll make it up north or not, but if that what it takes I'll be there.

Lisa, have not ridden with you in a while - no in-laws I hope.

Thanks Red, Slag, CJ, et al for not fading away (pork fat vodka, Emeril would be proud).

Let's ride [moto] [thumbsup] [beer] ;D

Hey there Dan, no downers over here, just busy as hell with all sorts of misc. crap (no in-laws tho  ;D  ).  I've got a bit more "assembly" to do on my 999, and it'll be good to go.

And I was just thinking about how awesome the weekend looks for riding - high of 74, WOO-HOO - so I'd be all for another group ride this weekend (geez, what a problem to have)  [laugh]

How about at least a coffee meet-up somewhere on Saturday or Sunday?

[moto] It's been a busy Fall with the AR rides & THC & and lots of track days - Randy tuned me up & new tires around 9/1 & I have put 2600 miles on the bike with commuting, down-low E.TX weekdays and a week in THC ! Not making excuses but sometimes there's a post something whatever that happens.

So DosGatos what you sense in the group is for real but everyone's story is a little different!  ;D

The good news is that these Ducatisti are relentless hooligans  [evil] even if they are broke, and their wives (or husbands or whatever)  are pregdoggin' on them, and their bikes are busted ( or smashed on trailers or leaking - RR ), and their ribs & pinkies are bruised, and they have outstanding warrants, and they are hung over, and they just lost a diamond ( or backpack -eh K? ) !!!
They would rather be riding, partying, modding, & foolin' around on the Forum than lots of other stuff they only just have to do!

So where is this ride Sunday?  [coffee]

The only ride I know of so far is a north ride with Dax.  I'll look at the map for a south or west ride, last week's ride with CDC... was fun.

when i get my bike back and get the exhaust fixed up i will plan a short hillsboro run one sun it only takes about 1 1/2 hour to get there eat some lunch and about 1  1/2 hour back  that way it can be done in the heat of the day instead of meeting at early. it's not bad i ride it all the time. it's no muenster, AR, or H/C.

I'd be up for a civilized Hillsboro ride, maybe morphed into a Hico ride some nice sunny Sunday. Not too early is fine with me. [thumbsup] Let us know Chris.

I believe I know where the high school is. I think I turn on that road off of 360 to head into Mansfiled, through town then snake over to whatever road AMS is on. Is that the same high school? No wait, isn't there another high school on 360 north of what I'm talking about?
