Well... the plan has been changing in my head for the past 24hrs... my apologies beancounter... I'm gonna bail from this one. Instead, I'm gonna do some solo exploring... if you're up for a 600+ mile day, you're more than welcome to come but before you make up your mind I need to tell you this...
I'm going to be exploring an area that's notorious for extremely technical roads. Not only are they very technical, there stands a good chance that they'll be covered in gravel. PA does thing that the locals call "tarring & chipping. Basically, they cover the roads with gravel and pack it down, then they cover the whole thing with tar and pack it down again. The vehicles traveling over freshly tarred & chipped roads clean off the remaining gravel. If the roads have little to no traffic (the area I'm going has virtually NO traffic), then it takes a long time for the gravel to go away and my sources tell me that the area was tarred & chipped in September. These roads go up and down a set of mountains and it's truly in the middle of nowhere so the consequences of a mistake are very high. The chance of running of out gas is also very high since there are no gas stations. I/we will have to stop at every gas station I/we come across even if I/we are only 30 miles into a tank... that 30 miles might end up making a huge difference on whether I/we make it back w/o having to push the bike/s or not.
Also, I've never been to the area so for all I know, the roads won't even be that much fun... but from what I hear, the roads in the area are best in the northeast as far as tightness, twistyness and being the most technical. They've been compared to the roads in western NC and eastern TN and folks say they're just as good. Whether they are or not remains to be seen and I aim to find out. ;D

I thought about it...I'm in.
What are the logistics? What time to do we meet? What time do we expect to get back?
PM coming...

Good??? It was great rolling with you today! Goldenchild, thanks for letting me tag along. Hwy/route 125 was amazing! ...definitely very technical [bow_down]
Just a bit chilly? M-th-r F--ker my nuts froze over!! I'm still recovering from the cold. Good call on ending the day earlier than planned. My cold gear was definitely insufficient for high speed slabbing. All in all, 400+ miles is not bad for a shortened day.
Tommy, it was nice seeing you again. Good luck with the bike plans. As promised, I'm signing up with you guys ASAP [thumbsup]
