I ran into a Harley shop recently on a work trip to kill some time. I sat on a flat black colored V-Rod and other than the pegs and gearshifter being towards the front of the bike it felt alot like my dark monster. I was just curious if highway pegs could be added to it and I wonder how it would look. Obviously they couldn't be too far forward since you have to lean forward. The V-rod didn't have a cruiser style upright riding position. Atleast not very much. It had an aggressive slight forward posture.
What ever you are smoking......Stop immediatley. >:(

I'm 5'9". Pants say 32 length.
I put on the Oberon Touring pegs, mainly because the OEM pegs were to small for my wide feet, and after an hour of riding I would get pain/cramping from my feet. The OEM peg end used to sit right in the middle of foot when riding, very annoying, so I changed to these, much better and much more comfy on long rides, they get close to the road on hard cornering, but so far I have not touched them down, I hope this helps.

Actually its more like the back of my knees are resting on the frame sliders. Not exactly comfortable but it lets you stretch your leg for a bit.

OH. I never tried that. I thouhgt you had the bottom of your foot on the peg itself! [laugh] I just stand up on the bike to stretch my legs out. But im a relatively small person. :P
I like this thread, every time I read the topic I crack up! [laugh] Keep 'em coming it's hillarious! [clap]
I think highway pegs would be fine, as long as you also install ape-hangers. [laugh]

I've done it. [laugh] it looks flippin' goofy, but it's fun for a few laughs/weird looks from cagers
highway pegs? Bah. I just lay down over the top of the bike and rest my legs on the passenger mounts if I'm really that sore from a long distance ride.

I'm 6'2"+ and I can put my feets up on the frame sliders with relative ease. It's a little wobbly, and as the Ted sed, goofy looking, but maybe that's why I do it.

I'll make it happen. I don't have the cool hair, though, so don't be disappointed.
I won't be. As long as you make that same facial expression. [laugh]
I, too, put my feet back on the passenger pegs to stretch my legs out on long rides.
