Hypermotard in Yes Men
I think there may have been a Ducati in the background of a scene in the 2nd Matrix  [laugh]

Wasn't it Woody Harrelson's character who recieved the bike as a present from Karen for his birthday and Grace was put out because Karen's gift was better than hers?

Yup...used to watch the show all the time and I thought it was funny so make the beast with two backs you all!  [wine]  ;D

In response to mcgalinmd's deleted post...

In the movie "Ratatouille", the female chef drives a fancy motorcycle. At at least one point during the film, you can see the "brand" of the motorcycle dispalyed on the gas tank. I only saw it briefly and incompletely, but it appeared to say something like "Calamari", which strikes me as totally in character with Pixar's organizational sense of humor.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case or set me straight if its not?

"The brand of motorcycle that Colette rides, as evidenced by the logo on the gas tank, is "Calahan" - a reference to DP/lighting director Sharon Calahan."

Watching the scene again, closest Duc would be Sport Classic S:

Looking close, and I wish I could find a better pic of the bike in question, it is a parallel twin, thus my reasoning:

Yeah, I always thought of it as a Ducati, but after doing some web searching myself, I found out it to be a "calahan" so I deleted it.

I, too, think it looks like a Paul Smart.  I actually went to YouTube and watched most of the movie to confirm.  :)

"Dollhouse" on FOX starring Eliza Dushku and she rides a 848/1098   [thumbsup]

Eliza Dushku showed her skills with the compound bow and arrow and said she would be using it in an upcoming episode of the new series. She was fresh from a day of shooting where she said she had been tearing around on the Los Angeles streets in her leather pants on a Ducati  motorcycle and the day before or so she had been in a helicopter shooting downtown.

?

"promotional consideration" (aka product placement) doesn't always mean "paid", sometimes it just means "donated".  It was widely reported that GM donated over 100 Cadillacs for use in the sequels.  I imagine the deal was similar with Ducati.

Sidenote: That bike (well, one of the several used as Trinity's in the freeway scene) sat in the basement of the production office for the 1+ years I worked there during post (when the production returned from australia).  Never moved.  Covered in dust.  I believe one of the Exec Prod kept it.  It probably *still* hasn't been ridden, unless he sold it.

causeofkaos: those (2 or 3) stairs led to an elevated platform that the two sales desks sat on for as long as I've been going to PI, since ~2002.  They're no longer there as PI was (subtly) remodeled last year.

Life in Flight movie.  Black Monster with clip-ons giving a kid the finger.  [laugh]

Life In Flight Trailer - Patrick Wilson (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_NCbbkEVvo#)

Unfortunately, it's not shown in the movie trailer but around the 1:38 mark you'll see the kid holding up a sign saying "flip me off".
In the movie, the Monster rider comes up next to him and abliges.  [evil]

A couple of abstract ones from movies I've seen recently. An m900 is parked outside a cafe in the movie "Following". Then in an anime series Speed Grapher, a multi.
