That bike is straight awesome. How many Titanium S4R's were made in 2007?
that is one SEXY looking bike!
What kind of paint did you use for the radiator?
are those cycle cat clip ons?

Yes they are CycleCat. They were a bear to find and I had to have them anodized with the forks because they faded to purple.
As far as the radiator, I just scuffed and primed the end caps, cleaned everything real well, and put on 3 coats of high temp engine enamel out of a rattle can. It has been over a year and it still looks fine.
Thanks for the compliments. :)
[clap] [clap] [clap] The mesh screen inside the frame is interesting.
Wow, that is beautiful! [bow_down] [bow_down] [bow_down]
I love the titanium color.
Luke, I love your exhaust. Does it have a ceramic coating? Who did yours? I notice the black has quite a bit of shine to it. Most of the coated exhausts I see are flat black with no shine.

It is ceramic. The flat color is good to between 1800-2100* depending on who does it. My local company offers that satin finish that is good to 1600*. It has a little shine and cleans up nice and black and smooth. The only problem is that it is a softer finish and does chip at the bottom from rocks and such. I spent less than $200 over 6000+ miles ago for all the pieces and just the bottom two pieces need refinishing. I guess that is OK by me.
Thanks again
There has to be at least a dozen Titanium S4RTs on the board. I would love to see some myself :D
Yours and Tafts are tenicest I've ever seen. Love the Arrows.
i have a new case of bike envy somethin' fierce.
That is one pregnant doging monster. Tell us about the pipes!!
Holy crap, Luke. Yours is absolutely gorgeous! And mean!
I have a couple basic pictures of mine in my signature, but they're nothing special after looking at Luke's bike.

Pipes are nothing special. They had discolored like all pipes and i decide to make them black after stealing the idea from someone else here. Drilled out the rivets and broke the ends off (they are glued as well as riveted). I cut a little more than 3" off and reassembled after ceramic coating everything but the straps.
They are loud as hell. They were loud before but now they seem even louder! I have a half dozen Harleys on my block so the neighbors are agreeable as long as I don't ride through late. Corse Superbikes in Milwaukee set me up with a custom PC3 + map and it just sounds great.

Nice bike!
I really like your clutch cover. Is that by speedymoto, and how do I like your seat?

I checked out the pics of your bike and it is pretty bad ass man. Post some pics of it here.
Can you guys please tell me if there were any changes from the 2007 model to the 2008 model? TIA.

I made the dealer toss it in the deal with the bike, I believe it's DP brand.

Is that an NPR sticker on the swing arm?
Two details Ducati got right on these S4R's are the black swingarm and the paint stripe goes straight up the middle of the bodywork instead of being offset.

+1 i never noticed but the rearsets and kickstand are black too. Is that a factory thing or did you do that seperately taft?

I love it when people notice the subtle details :)
The actual rearset carriers (the large part, bolts to swingarm) are ano'd black from ducati....and not hard ano'd either....as they fade a touch.
I PC'd the kickstand, and the shift and brake levers, along with the shift eccentric piece, and the shift rod. Nothing fancy, but it's all in the details [drink]
Yup, NPR decal. Although all the decals are gone now, much cleaner. I can't wait to rid myself of those ugly frame tabs back there, and drop the weight with the aluminum subframe I'll be working on.

At a local garage - I actually thought someone was stealing my bike as I rounded the corner... nope... just another one, almost identical. What are the chances..

Love the titanium tank/plastics and the red frame. One of the best color schemes imho. [clap] [thumbsup]
Update:
Full Arrows, new clutch pressure plate, painted tires, painted engine case logo, Ducabike rearsets, painted chain guards, and wheel stripes. I think that's it.
New tank is at the shop just waiting for the caswells to arrive so they can coat it before install.
