Title: Advice on swapping oem pressure plate with aftermarket.
Post by: DucRS on November 10, 2008, 10:15:14 AM
Working on an 07, RS. Is it as simple as: Unscrew the old bolts, remove old pressure plate, replace with new pressure plate, screw and tighten in new bolts and you're done? Do I need to apply Locktight? How tight should I go?  ??? Just being cautious so I don't end up with pressure plate rattling around the cage like a ball of marbles.

It's a simple job.  I wrote a basic how-to, and He Man did an expanded more detailed version.  Just pop in the how to section of the site and you should have not problem finding them.  All your questions are covered in either/both
