These are prototype STM brake/clutch reservoirs. They are really beautiful with an oval design the same shape as the STM logo!
There will be a selection of colors, probably with the choice to mix and match at will. We should have them in January and they will be priced about the same or even a little below Rizoma.
Let me know what you think!

Those look nice!
If there a bit cheaper than the Rizomas, then there great. I can dig the oval shape.
will there be any options for natural finish, or titanium finish. otherwise these look nice.
Nice [thumbsup] Keep us posted. My bike might be ready by then. [coffee]

Fuel cel problem. [bang] After it's fixed it will have to go back to Nate.
Ouch. WHat was the final capacity on that thing anyway? More than 5G?
I really like them. What kind of mounting hardware are they using?
those are nice.
First thing i though was ouch they are gonna be expensive.
STM for same or cheaper than rizoma. thats awesome.
i'm assuming its the same STM that make the very very expensive clutches?
those are nice.
will the site windows be mirror image? i ask because on the rizomas i have, one of the site windows faces towards oncoming traffic and the other towards the rider.
not a huge deal, but..........
Really nice. I'm in when they are out.
Oval huh?
Cool design but I'm curious how the cover comes off. There are no visible screws and seeing that they are oval that leaves out a screw top....... ???
pretty [thumbsup]

They have a standard round thread and the excess is machined off. I'll try to get an image posted of one with the cap off - it is easier to see than explain. They just turn and screw off like normal though.
Get em and I'll buy em~!

Yeah, that makes sense. I was actually considering that as an answer to my own question. [thumbsup]
That leads me to another question though. What happens when the threads start to wear in and the cap and the body no longer line up?

Not sure if that will be a problem... how many times are you going to take the cap on and off? To wear threads out it would have to be many many many times...
GSG Moto makes reservoirs that attach directly to the master cylinder: no hose and no clamp! Down side is that there is one (that I know of) US importer and they're >$100 each.

It would be cool if STM or Rizoma or anyone made something like the GSG Moto reservoirs, especially for the Monster's rear MC (which is angled)...the reservoir is a bit of a PITA to refill.
I wonder how well those work - the 999 always had leaks where the reservoir and master meet so I've never been a fan of that style. I wonder if they have a better seal with their part. It's not pretty when fluid leaks - ruins everything.

I have one on the rear Nissin master on my Bandit. Hasn't leaked at all, but the rear master is somewhat different that the front master.
No natural grey? You gotta offer polished aluminum or something besides the bling colors.

I'd imagine they will have clear anodized... they usually have red, black, silver, blue and gold.

I might try searching about this, but how do I convert the 999 masters to remote res.? The paint is coming off the covers on mine and I thought of billet covers, but would rather have something like these STM bits.

I don't think I've seen anybody do this so I'm not sure if it is possible (at least easily).

I'm sure someone here has.
Any news if these puppies will be available for x-mas....They are on my wish list.
Thanks
i have this exact reservoir on my 2006 speed triple
several thousand miles now with ZERO leakage.... [thumbsup]
YMMV ;)

are these available? I looked on your site and didn't see them.
How about making the reservoirs symmetrical?
methinks you'd have to contact STM for those kinds of suggestions.

I gave up asking about them as they never seemed like they were going to become available. I can check and see if they are now though. What's crazy is that last year at EICMA STM told me in person that they would be ready in January... lol. I'm getting ready to go back to EICMA in November... and I've not received a single one yet!
a mate with a, ahem......triumph speed triple, ordered a black alloy brake reservoir and it was branded with the triumph logo with "made by STM" on the cap, very nice bit of kit too. i'm keen if they're available.
paul.
apparently they are, kind of pricy at $79.99 each....

We've had them in stock for triumph for a long time - but like mentioned earlier - they say Triumph on them.
