That's a real "laaitie" (South African for a young boy). Reminds me of my boys when they were that age.

Quite rusty but it loosens up pretty quickly when I need to express myself $%@&...
We only speak English at home and the wife and I use it as our secret language around the boys
I speak to my folks weekly but typing emails in Afrikaans is another story.
